How does PrivNote+ work?
You create a secret, share the link, and the message is deleted based on the configured rules.
Are secrets stored in plain text?
No. Secrets are never stored in plain text, only in encrypted form.
Are my messages end-to-end encrypted?
Content is stored encrypted and transmitted via secure connections.
When is a secret deleted?
As soon as the maximum openings or validity period is reached.
Can I set a password for a secret?
Yes. You can optionally set a protection password when creating it.
Can a secret be read multiple times?
Yes, if you allow more than one opening when creating it.
Do you store my secret permanently?
No. Secrets are temporary and removed automatically.
Can I edit an already created link?
No. The link is fixed at creation time and cannot be changed later.
What happens with a wrong password?
The secret will not be shown. It can only be opened with the correct password.
Can support read my secret content?
No. Support has no plain-text access to secret content.
Can I restore a deleted secret?
No. Deleted secrets are permanently removed and cannot be restored.
Do I need an account to use PrivNote+?
No. You can use the service without registration.
Is there a maximum message length?
Yes. Very large payloads may be limited. Shorter text messages work best.
How is the service protected against abuse?
We use technical safeguards such as rate limits, validation, and security event logging.
Is data transfer secure?
Yes. Communication is protected via HTTPS using SSL/TLS.
How quickly does support respond?
Usually within 1 to 2 business days.
